Nicholas Bergantin

Executive Creative Director of Africa DDB

Born and raised in Sao Paulo. Studied and worked in Los Angeles. He was part of Crispin, Porter+Bogusky, Anomaly, Isobar and Young & Rubicam teams. And now, Nicholas is ECD at Africa DDB, based in Brazil but create ideas all over the planet. He became an internationally renowned Creative Director and Copywriter by having a critical role in creating and leading many landmark productions. Such as Salla 2032, #LetHerRun, Pay Per Beer, Alexa’s Burnout, 110 Years of the Striding Man for clients like Budweiser, Brahma, Johnnie Walker, ESPN, Heinz, House of Lapland, among others. He’s well known for his ability to break boundaries and to fearlessly create new and dynamic campaigns for major global clients that has helped position Africa DDB as a global force in the industry, the most awarded Latin American agency and the 3rd most creative in the world. His work has led to more than 100 international recognitions including a Cannes Lions Grand Prix, a Grand Clio, D&AD, One Show and Effies awards. Nicholas has a degree in Journalism and if he can’t be found playing football with his two kids, he surely is watching his Sao Paulo football team at the stadium. His favorite idea? The next one.
