Guillermo is a Creative and Art Director with 14 years of experience in the Advertising
industry. Originally from Chile, he had a life-changing opportunity eight years ago to
move to the U.S. for work. This opportunity changed his career and personal life forever.
He spent six years living and working in New York and is now based in Miami, working
in a hybrid role for a New York based creative agency.
Growing up in Chile, Guillermo experienced the challenges of living through financial
crises and saw firsthand the issues caused by lack of education, nutritious food, and
healthcare. These experiences fueled his passion for creating advertising ideas that
blend beauty with purpose.
He has worked across a broad range of categories and brands in both the consumer
and health and wellness spaces. He has been part of some of the most prestigious
creative agencies, including Grey New York, FCB Chicago, VML New York, and Area 23
New York.
Throughout his 14-year career, Guillermo’s work has been recognized over 50 times at
some of the world's most prestigious creative festivals, including Cannes Lions (20
times), Clio Awards (27 times), D&AD (7 times), and LIAs (14 times), to name a few. He
recently added a Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions Festival for the Siemens project
“Magnetic Stories.”
Despite all the awards, what excites Guillermo the most is collaborating with passionate
and authentic people who are willing to set aside their egos to bring ideas to life in the
best way possible. My creative motto: “Love and crafting. Great ideas need
both. Love to push through obstacles and doubts, never
giving up. Crafting to have the skills, techniques, and
dedication to bring them to life.”
